This song was originally written several years ago, following a tragic act of violent hatred that left a nation mourning. Today, as the pandemic continues to spread - leaving a trail of sorrow and loss in its wake - intolerance and injustice overshadow the countless heroic acts of selfless courage that are happening every day. We all have the power to help guide our world towards a future of peace and tolerance, where we all can be accepted and embraced as respected and valued individuals. Whether offering your time, expertise, or resources to those hit hardest by the pandemic, or standing up to support peaceful protests against injustice and hate, continue to "Make It Right" wherever you can. You matter, and you are not alone.
lyrics
"Are these the signs? The signs of our times?
When you look around, everyone seems down
The world feels colder, maybe a little older
And with every day, we drift further away
But we've got the might to make it right, make it right
Make it right, make it right, make it right
Somewhere people are crying, somewhere people are dying
Still the children sing, let their voices ring
'cause they've got the might to make it right, make it right
Make it right, make it right, make it right
If hope springs anew, tell me what you will do
For the weary world's sake, the future is yours to make
You've got the might to make it right, make it right
Make it right, make it right, make it right
Use your might to make the world a little more bright
Don't give up that fight
Make it right, make it right where you can
It'll soon spread across the land
Make it right, make it right, make it right
Someday it'll all be alright
Make it right, make it right where you can
Make it right, make it right where you can
Make it right, make it right where you can
