This song was originally written in January of 2021, following the violence in Washington D. C. It was initially a reaction to the racism and anti-Semitism that was on display, but during the revision process, the song transformed into an echo of the countless demands for change. Too many people have been waiting too long. We all must do what we can to build a brighter and more just world for the future.
